Customer reviews
The first customers report their experience with the Scoobe3D
The Scoobe3D is currently being delivered to our customers (more customer reviews coming soon).
The first users were already allowed to try out the pre-release version of the Scoobe3D. Read what they have to say about the portable handheld 3D scanner:
"I was very impressed by the almost finished series product and would never have imagined this in such a short time, although I still live this naive over-optimism. Huge compliments for this achievement!
The device is as mobile as a smartphone and fits in any pocket.
UI was already very intuitive and contemporary."
"At the end of April, I had the pleasure of testing the new Scoobe3D scanner as a beta tester. The device itself makes a very stable and high-quality impression. It lies well in the hand and has a great design. In contrast to smartphones of comparable size, it is relatively thick and heavy, but this does not bother me for the intended use, but makes it clear that we are not simply getting a converted mobile phone here, but a specially developed high-tech scanner..." "...The operation is intuitive as promised, the user guidance well thought out. I think, as far as the hardware is concerned, a delivery in May would have been possible. During the test scan, however, I only realised what a great challenge a 3D scan with the promised accuracy is for the software. I had brought my own model with me so that the results would also be reliable..." (2/4)
"...We then went through the complete scanning and uploading process and a lot of things worked brilliantly. However, as is often the case with new products, the devil is in the detail, as there was still room for improvement in terms of scanning speed, error tolerance as well as the cloud solution for managing the scans..." (3/4)
"...I personally think it's good that the Scoobe3D team is now working flat out to optimise these points and that they want to provide us with a mature solution that is suitable for professional use, albeit with a delay. I'm really looking forward to the delivery of my Scoobe3D and wish the team great success in marketing this great product. (4/4)
"...The device resembles a camera, but it is not. It was developed specifically for one purpose [3D] scanning. A dedicated device makes sense because the hardware required can be integrated and optimised and the design is perfectly matched. It is not a clip-on solution for your iPhone. It can also store images locally on an SD card, which an iPhone can't do."
"This 3D scanner uses a patented technology of time-of-flight and polarized RGB images, unlike most other 3D scanners that use triangulation or structured light.
"Scoobe3D generates the images so fast that the scanner can be guided in the hand. I love it!"
