Benjamin is many things: mechatronics engineer, state-certified electrical engineer with a profile in industrial systems engineering, industrial engineer studying. Already at a young age, he built a complete circuit for a vehicle lighting system and completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer, where he learned, among other things, how to operate the CAD program Solid Edge professionally.
After successfully completing his training, he worked as an electrician at Schwenk, a company that produces insulating materials for façade insulation as well as polystyrene for prototype development. After many years of professional experience, he strived for more knowledge and completed further training as a state-certified electrical engineer with a profile in industrial systems engineering. He has added many skills to his repertoire, such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), which shows you what is relevant before a product launch in order to correct the defects beforehand and produce an end product that meets German quality standards.
In addition, he gained experience in hardware design, PCB layout, implementation, and hardware design by writing the microcontroller software in C that was also needed to develop the Scoobe3D prototype - for example, to determine the flash frequency of the Scoobe3D, we had to find out how quickly the prototype camera could take one frame after the other.
During his subsequent employment at GROB, an international company, he led a team for commissioning the PLC control of milling machines. After being promoted for his outstanding achievements, his new position was about process optimization. He succeeded in introducing an electronic, cloud-based checklist for the commissioning of milling machines and interlinking elements, which is used in branches on four continents. In addition, he was responsible for the smooth running of the project with over 600 employees and an open communication channel directly to the director. Benjamin came to Scoobe3D with his invaluable combination of technical competence and organisational talent.
